Mark Fullerton was 22 when he purchased his first property. In this episode of The Smart Property Investment Show, he joins hosts Russell Stephenson and Tom Gilmore to reveal how he has grown his portfolio, share how renovations have helped him along the way, and tell the horror story of a tenant who decided that they wanted to do some renovations of their own on one of Mark's properties.
Delving into his "property horror story" which saw a tenant
paint one of Mark's homes, he discusses his struggle with insurance
who said that the impromptu paint job may not be classed as
"damage", suggesting instead that it may have been classed as
renovations.
Tune in as Mark discusses building a portfolio while juggling a
full-time job, reveals how he is tailoring his properties to meet
the needs and expectations of tenants in the current rental market,
and discusses each of his properties in detail.
